All the blessings, open with Boruch and close with Boruch - כל הברכות פותח בברוך וחותם בברוך

Summary:
Various ברכות which are merely לשבח ולתפלה are not considered ברכות, and therefore do not begin with ברוך. However, the ברכה after reading the מגילה is a ברכה ארוכה and it begins and ends with 'בא"י וכו. The same with בורא נפשות.
