תוס' ד"ה הנוטל

One who washes his hands should not make Kiddush - הנוטל ידיו לא יקדש

Summary:
One who washes his hands should not make קידוש, either because it is a היסח הדעת, or he may be considered מגסי הרוח. One may wash his hands once in the morning and stipulate that it should last the entire day provided that water is (very) scarce, and he will make sure his hands do not become soiled or טמא.

תוס' ד"ה זימנין

I have stood before Rav many times, etc. - זימנין סגיאין הוה קאימנא קמיה דרב כולי

Summary:
קידוש is not considered a היסח הדעת, but מזיגה (on a weekday) is considered a היסח הדעת; either because it requires more exactness, or there is more concern for היסח הדעת on a weekday than on a שבת.

תוס' ד"ה מקדש

He made Kiddush over bread - מקדש אריפתא

Summary:
There is a dispute between the רשב"ם and the ר"ת, whether we are מקדש over bread (רשב"ם), or not (ר"ת). We may make הבדלה on שכר if it is חמר מדינה. It is questionable whether we can make קידוש or ברהמ"ז on שכר (even if it is חמר מדינה).

Summary:
The ruling of טעם אינו מקדש is only if he tasted more than just the wine from the כוס של ברכה.

Summary:
The concept that 'ה prevents צדיקים from eating forbidden foods is only if the item is אסור, but not if a permissible food is being eaten in a forbidden time.

Summary:
