תוס' ד"ה שאף

For they were also in that miracle - שאף הן היו באותו הנס

Summary:
Women are generally exempt from all מ"ע שהז"ג, whether they are מה"ת or מדרבנן.

They were in that miracle - היו באותו הנס

Summary:
אף הן היו באותו הנס means, either that they caused the miracle (רשב"ם), or they were also saved by this miracle (תוספות).

He fulfilled his obligation by drinking them undiluted - שתאן חי יצא

Summary:
Generally, we require מזיגה by ד' כוסות and ברהמ"ז. The meaning of וצריך חי by ברהמ"ז can mean either; the מזיגה must be in the כוס ברהמ"ז, not before (רש"י), it is a partial מזיגה first and later (by ברכת הארץ) a full מזיגה (ר"ת), or that the כוס must be whole, not broken (בני נרבונ"א)

Even though one may not have fulfilled מצות ד' כוסות if he drank them בב"א, nevertheless he is יוצא מצות שמחת יו"ט.

Summary:
Initially one should drink a רביעית, however if one drank a רוב רביעית – רוב כוס he is יוצא.

And you said; sufficient to dilute a respectable cup - ואת אמרת כדי מזיגת כוס יפה

Summary:
The מקשן understood that שמואל required a רובע רביעית for every cup, and the ברייתא required an undiluted רביעית for each cup. The answer is that the ברייתא requires a רביעית חי for all four cups together.
