תוס' ד"ה חזר

Rabi Yehudoh returned and used a different logic - חזר רבי יהודה ודנו דין אחר

Summary:
In the final מה מצינו, there is no need for the previous similarities; only בל תותירו.

תוס' ד"ה וחמץ

And Chomaytz; it is not to be left over - וחמץ הרי הוא בבל תותירו

Summary:
The איסור of לא תותירו by נותר is a one time איסור; however the איסור of ב"י וב"י by חמץ is a continual איסור.

The said to him an Oshom Tohluy will prove - אמרו לו אשם תלוי יוכיח

Summary:
The word הנותר precludes comparing any איסור (including חמץ) to נותר.

Summary:
The words כי קדש הוא exclude חטאת עוף ואשם תלוי from שריפה.

And we also learnt regarding Avodoh Zoroh - ותנן נמי גבי עבודה זרה

The רבנן here who permit מפרר וזורה לרוח by חמץ may either be following the view of ר"י, or they may even agree with the רבנן and distinguish between חמץ where הנאה שלא כדרך is permitted and ע"ז where even שלא כדרך is prohibited.

Chomaytz, which is thrown into other rivers - חמץ דלשאר נהרות

Summary:
ע"ז may be either thrown into the ים המלח without שחיקה, or to שאר נהרות with שחיקה. However חמץ (which is usually thrown לשאר נהרות) requires פירור (according to רבה).

רב יוסף and רבה are not assuming opposite views (regarding חמץ וע"ז).

ע"ז, which is not soluble, requires grinding - עבודה זרה דלא ממיסה בעי שחיקה

Summary:
The dispute between רבה ורב יוסף is only regarding חמץ בשאר נהרות (where רבה requires פירור, and ר"י does not), however regarding ע"ז both agree that שחיקה is required only בשאר נהרות, but not בים המלח.
