כי שדית בור בינייהו אתיא כולהו –
If you place בור among them, they can all be derived

The גמרא stated that if the תורה would have written בור and any one of the other three אבות, we could derive from these two, the remaining אבות (with the possible exception of קרן). Our רש"י explains at length how each of the אבות can be derived from the various combinations of בור with an other אב. This תוספות questions some of s'רש"י assumptions, and also discusses some difficulties in deriving certain אבות from the צד השוה of בור וחד מאינך.
Summary:
The גמרא could have explained the reason for mentioning all the אבות is that we should not exempt them from כלים (or טמון). The משנה mentioned the לא הרי in order להגדיל תורה ויאדיר
