תוס' ד"ה אף

Also by ‘stolen’, there is no remedy - אף גזול דלית ליה תקנתא

Summary:
לית ליה תקנתא means in its present condition (but not if the animal becomes mature later [when it may be brought as a קרבן]).

It is רבא (not רבה) who maintains יאוש לא קני.

Summary:
The duplicity of שור alone could have meant the exclusion of other animals from the payment of שור, but not from the payment of שה.

Summary:
Logic dictates that for selling a שור one pays for a שור, not for a שה; and vice versa.

Summary:
We can derive from the פסוק of וגונב מבית האיש that הגונב מן הגנב is פטור from כפל, only according to the מ"ד that it is discussing גנב עצמו, not טוען טענת גנב.

Summary:
The גמרא asked the question regarding יאוש by גנב וגזלן according to what רבה ורב were discussing respectively, even though there is no logic to differentiate between them. Alternately; the questions were recorded as they were originally posed.
