Summary:
A גט may be written on anything which lasts.

תוס' ד"ה יצא

It excludes this which is lacking writing, cutting, etc. - יצא זה שמחוסר כתיבה קציצה כולי

Summary:
There is a dispute whether מחוסר קציצה applies only to בע"ח or מחובר לקרקע, or it applies to everything. The גזירה of שמא יקטום is only where it is reasonable to expect it. The woman is not divorced with a גט on an עציץ נקוב unless נפסקה יניקתו. However this is not considered מחוסר קציצה. A minimal cutting is not considered מחוסר קציצה לכו"ע.

תוס' ד"ה תלמוד

It teaches us, saying; ‘and he writes to her’, in any event - תלמוד לומר וכתב לה מכל מקום

Sometimes they will omit mentioning the last כלל even though it is a כלל ופרט וכלל.

Just as a book has no life spirit within it - מה ספר דבר שאין בו רוח חיים

Summary:
צאן is more readily identified as בע"ח than ספר is identified as בא מבע"ח. The חכמים are דורש the פסוקים as they feel is appropriate.

She is divorced through writing - בכתיבה מתגרשת

Summary:
One וכתב לה teaches us לשמה and the other וכתב לה teaches בכתיבה מתגרשת and ולא לה ולחברתה.

And she is not divorced through money - ואינה מתגרשת בכסף

Summary:
אביי derives that a woman is not מתגרשת בכסף from a סברא. We are ממעט חליצה from וכתב not from ספר כורתה from which ריה"ג is ממעט. We use the דרשה that is simpler to grasp.

That you should not go to your father’s house forever; it is not a severance - שלא תלכי לבית אביך לעולם אין זה כריתות

בית אביך (as opposed to ביתך) refers also to the heirs of the current owner.
