Summary: A שליח who says בפ"נ in בבל or א"י is believed to the extent that we pay no attention to ערעור הבעל.

תוס' ד"ה ויתנו

And they gave away the child for a זונה, etc. - ויתנו (את) הילד בזונה

Summary: The בני בבל would cause their children to become enslaved for food since they left them. One even sold his daughter for a maid to enable him to study.

תוס' ד"ה אמר

Said ר' יצחק: 'Two words may be written without שרטוט (scoring the parchment)' - אמר רבי יצחק שתים כותבין

Summary: The תלמוד ירושלמי states that שירטוט is a requirement הלכה למשה מסיני when writing ספרי תורה. In our גמרא, ר' יצחק adds that even when writing three words (four words according to the מתניתא) of a פסוק, שירטוט is required. The גמרא in מגילה states : תפילין do not require שירטוט, however a מזוזה does require שירטוט. This תוספות will discuss various aspects of שירטוט.

Summary: ותזנה has the connotation of both (relating to) זנות and food. There was no real זנות because people would not take back פילגשים who were מזנה.

Summary: It is by עירובי תחומין when one must be careful to say ערבתם only עם חשיכה and not later (however עירובי חצירות may be done even by ספק חשיכה).
