תוס' ד"ה הואיל

Since it is a rabbinic interpretation - הואיל ומדרש חכמים הוא

Summary:
According to the ר"ת the requirement for a גט שחרור by שאר ראשי אברים is only מדרבנן, while according to the ריב"א it is מה"ת since the דרשה of ישלחנו indicates the use of the גז"ש of שילוח from אשה.

תוס' ד"ה תרנגול

A rooster who stuck his head, etc. - תרנגול שהושיט ראשו וכולי

Summary:
The תרנגול pays a נזק שלם and the סוס וחמור pay a חצי נזק.

תוס' ד"ה מיבעי

They need it for that which was taught; ‘Where he stuck, etc.’ - מיבעי ליה לכדתניא הרי שהושיט כולי

Summary:
The חכמים maintain that the only time he is פטור is when there is תרתי לטיבותא.

He was blind and he removed it, he goes out free - סמויה וחטטה יוצא בהן לחירות

Summary:
There is a difference whether one blinds someone whose eyes were not functional (where he does not go free), or whether one removes the eyeball of a blind person (where he goes free since he became a מחוסר אבר).

-And the Tanah taught it, etc. - ותנא תונא כולי

Summary:
We cannot compare עבד who already had an emancipating wound, to a bird which had no blemish at all previously.

תוס' ד"ה תלמוד

It teaches us by saying. ‘from the fowl’, but not all the fowl - תלמוד לומר מן העוף ולא כל העוף

Summary:
If not for the פסוק of מכל העוף, we would assume that the פסוק by נח is referring to ישראל, but not to ב"נ. Alternately we may have thought that the פסול of מחוסר אבר is only by בהמה, but not by עוף.
