תוס' ד"ה רב

Rav Yehudoh says, from the son - רב יהודה אומר משל בן

Summary:
Even if we maintain משל בן that means that the son should spend money and honor his father with this money, but not that he should lose money by honoring his father, if the loss is not actually part of the honor.

תוס' ד"ה אורו

The Rabbis issued a ruling to Rabi Yirmeeyoh in accordance with the one who maintains, ‘from the father’ - אורו ליה רבנן לרבי ירמיה כמאן דאמר משל אב

Summary:
The הלכה is משל אב; however, if the father has no money and the son has, he is obligated to feed his parents.
